Recap

[Best_Wordpress_Gallery id=”8″ gal_title=”Oct. 16 game”]

Despite strong offensive zone time in the first period, the Phantoms found themselves down 4-1 as the Roughnecks took advantage of most of their odd-man rushes.

The Roughnecks continued to convert in the second, but the Phantoms evened things out in the third with a balanced effort.

Ryan Clark opened the scoring for the Phantoms with an end-to-end rush and a quick snapshot top shelf. Kenton Stefaniuk scored on a well-placed wrister from the point through a screen. Zachary Garinger made a nice dash around the defender and went high glove for his goal.

Lucas Bielopotocky and Brock Horne added assists.
